All of us have sinned and deserve death

Romans 3:9b-12 "...for we have already charged that all are under sin...None is righteous, no not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."

Jesus came to earth as Fully God...Fully man

Philippians 2:6-11 "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Jesus died on the cross for us and rose again 3 days later

Mark 16:5-7 "As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”

God gives forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who receives Jesus as Lord

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"
John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the World to condemn the world but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in the Son is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only son."
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God"

Someday Jesus will come back and take His followers to Heaven

Hebrews 9:27-28 "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgement, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him."
Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
